My first cookbook, Fresh Made Simple A Naturally Delicious Way to Eat: Look, Cook, Savor , is a collection of 76 fully illustrated and veggie-centric recipes that capture the playful side of cooking (Storey Publishing, 2015).  Every recipe is a whimsical water color and ink illustration by Katie Eberts.

Thoughtful, original & easy

"I love this book- my 4.5 year old is able to help me "read" the recipes and really feel like he's the chef. The recipes are simple to follow, delicious and nutritious. The illustrations are incredible- I would love to frame a few in my kitchen because they're so colorful, bright and eye catching!

I have many cookbooks- but none like this!"

Fun for the Whole Family

"My young kids love to look at the pictures and cook with me. When I first got this book, I was worried it might be a little too basic, as it looked so simplistic compared to my other cookbooks. However on closer inspection, I understood the beauty of that! My young kids love to look at the pictures and cook with me and they have even eaten leeks thanks to the leek corn egg bake! Plus with so few ingredients, it is much easier to afford these meals than the complex ones and I am not wasting half of the ingredients. I am excited to keep working my way through the book to vary our quick and easy daily menus."
